Louis Taubman heads the New York office of Leser, Hunter, Taubman & Taubman, a business law firm whose practice areas include securities transactions, securities litigation and defense, real estate transactions, intellectual property, tax litigation, and general corporate law. He advises clients with regard to corporate restructuring, corporate finance, and the structuring of individual mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Taubman’s practices includes:
Mr. Taubman is also a co‐founder and member of Tripoint Capital Advisors, LLC. Tripoint Capital Advisors is a consulting firm with specialized practices in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, corporate finance and investment intermediary services. Mr. Taubman manages all legal aspects of Tripoint, including strategic planning.
Previously Mr. Taubman served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of GroupNow, Inc. In that role he managed all legal aspects of GroupNow, including strategic planning and structuring of the company’s acquisitions. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Taubman served as an attorney in the legal department of Prudential Securities, Inc. Mr. Taubman graduated cum laude from New York Law School and is a member of the New York Bar.
